Firsts trounce Oldham

Only one game because of bad weather. But the Firsts hammered AFC Oldham 4-0 on Curzon Ashton's plastic pitch to cement second spot in the Premiership.

Craig Frisby's header from corner set Mellor on the way. Matt Jamieson then fired into the bottom corner for the second.

Man of the Match Craig Frisby then notched a second header for number three before Danny Leibrick made it 4-0.

Manager Si Dalby said: "It was a good defensive display, based on hard work and getting men behind ball. We took our chances well. They were a good side but we were better organised and more effective. A good all round team performance."
